What Is a Pre-Shipment Inspection?
A Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is conducted when at least 80% of your production run is complete and packed — but before the container is loaded. Our inspector visits the factory, draws a random sample according to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards per ISO 2859-1, and checks your products against your specifications.
PSI is the most common type of third-party inspection and the single most effective way to catch defects before they ship.

- Product dimensions, weight, and appearance against approved samples
- Workmanship: stitching, seams, zippers, buttons, hardware, finishes
- Colour and material matching
- Functionality testing (zips, closures, electrical operation where applicable)
- Labelling, hang tags, barcodes, and compliance markings
- Packaging: carton strength, quantity per carton, inner packaging condition
- AQL sampling: Level II, 2.5 (Major) / 4.0 (Minor) as standard — customisable
